ABOUT THE PRESENTATION:
Come to learn what you may have missed with all the changes that have recently happened at FamilySearch.
ABOUT MARSDEN HAWS:
Marsden Haws was born in 1943 and raised in Oakland, California with a short 4-year stint in Provo and Springville, Utah after his father returned home in September 1945 from serving in the U.S. Navy during the war years. He met his wife-to-be, Marie, while serving as a missionary in Austria. He graduated from BYU in 1968 with a B.S. degree in Psychology and received his MBA degree in 1970. His career took him to Saudi Arabia for 10 years working as a consultant, with frequent travel opportunities throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. After returning from this marvelous ten-year adventure in the Middle East, Mick and Marie settled in Eagle Mountain, Utah. In 2012 he learned about service opportunities in FamilySearch Support and has enjoyed serving there since then.
He is active in Amateur Radio, Silver Sneakers, and continues to develop and hone his Tai Chi skills at the Black Sash level, and enjoys biking. Mick and Marie enjoy taking trips to visit grandchildren and great grandchildren and participating in family reunions.
