Description: These will be detailed discussions of tips and techniques for performing online newspaper research and how to improve search results.  These tips will provide more and better quality search results and show an introduction to The Ancestor Hunt website.

ABOUT KENNETH R. MARKS: He is retired from a 35-year career as a software executive, including working at The Boeing Company, NASA Headquarters, and as a C level executive at several software companies. He attended the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Southern California, and California State University, graduated with a BS degree in Mathematics in 1968. He spends many hours with The Ancestor Hunt website, as well as researching his own ancestors posting the results on two family history websites when he has time:  http://www.marksology.com/ and  https://www.braunhart.com/ . The Ancestor Hunt webpage, created in 2012, is a very popular and helpful website with lots of information. These presentations can be viewed by anyone on Facebook by going to the UVTAGG Facebook Page. Members of UVTAGG can watch on Zoom, which is more interactive, by going to https://zoom.us/j/909-878-8837 and waiting while your UVTAGG membership is verified. The broadcasts will be online only and NOT in-person due to the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic.
