Main speaker -- LINDSEY BAYLESS, AG, on AN INTRODUCTION TO FINDMYPAST FOR THE LDS COMMUNITY

How to get your free LDS subscription and why you should use it for England and Wales research, as well as United States and elsewhere.  She will also be showing how to get the most out of your searches.

Lindsey Bayless, AG (Accredited Genealogist), conducts research in the British Isles, including Huguenot research, and is accredited in English and Welsh research. Personal family research, client research, and service in the genealogical community have been Lindsey's focus for more than 20 years. Lindsey is a volunteer Research Specialist at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.  She is a member of the ICAPGen Board and serves as the British Regional Chair on the ICAPGen Testing Committee. Lindsey also serves as a Stake Temple and Family History Consultant and as part of the Steering Committee for the Lindon Six Stakes Family History Center. Beginning  next month on Saturday, 12 Oct 2019, the Group is going to a two-hour meeting from 10 am - noon in the same Red Chapel.  The main presentation will be the first hour, followed by classes during the second hour.  All meetings will still be open to the public, whether members of the Group of not.  Members of the group receive via email the monthly newsletter TAGGology, which contains a wealth of helpful information and they have access to the more than 400 videos of past presentations and classes.
