10:00 - 11:00 am MT:   MARIE ALEXANDER on ENTHUSIASM FOR YOUTH IN FAMILYSEARCH CENTER ACTIVITIES

11:10 am - 12 Noon MT:   SCOTT HILL on FAMILY HISTORY ESCAPE APP

ABOUT THE MAIN PRESENTATATION by MARIE ALEXANDER:
Marie will be sharing some of her seventeen years of experience helping youth at the Lindon, Utah FamilySearch Center.  She will be presenting activities, videos, games, etc, that have helped youth enjoy family history.

ABOUT THE CLASS by SCOTT HILL
Family History Escape is a virtual escape room, but rather than working to escape from a room, you are working to help deceased individuals escape from Spirit Prison by discovering their Family History.  Each episode tells the story of an actual deceased individual and systematically leads you on a journey to find historical records to learn more about their life.  Each episode is designed as a fun way to help you learn about different aspects of Family History, i.e. different types of Family History records. The app can be used if you are just learning Family History or are more experienced with Family History.

ABOUT MARIE ALEXANDER:
Marie Alexander was shown the love of family history by her parents and grandparents since she was a child. This love has continued throughout her life.  She and her husband, Denton, have eight children, twenty-six grandchildren, and one great grand-daughter.  With her husband, she has served at the Lindon Shared Stakes FamilySearch Center for over seventeen years.  She has served for four years as a FamilySearch Support Missionary.

ABOUT SCOTT HILL:
Scott Hill is a retired Chemical Engineer.  He enjoys doing family history and especially loves the programming side of it.  His "This is Family" app is on the Solutions Gallery on FamilySearch. This app is great for helping young children learn about their ancestors by creating an avatar for each of them. You can also find his "Temples In Color" app on the IOS App store. He has 6 children and 31 grandkids.
