MAIN PRESENTATION, 10-11 am: DAWN BRIMHALL: ADVANCED ZOOM FOR FAMILY HISTORY CONSULTANTS
This presentation will examine how Family History
Consultants can more effectively utilize Zoom in individual and small group settings as a means of helping individuals access a wide range of available digital resources.

This presentation will cover the basics of utilizing Zoom both as a participant and as a presenter in small group presentations.
ABOUT DAWN BRIMHALL:
Dawn Retta Brimhall received a BA in History Teaching from Brigham Young University (2011) and a Masters in Education from the University of St. Thomas (2018). In 2020, she was named the Aldine Independent School District (ISD) Secondary Teacher of the Year in Houston, Texas. She currently serves as the Social Studies Instructional Specialist at Davis High School in Aldine ISD. She enjoys travel, photography, music, and family history.

All meetings of the Group are open to the public with the goal of helping people use technology to further their family and personal history. On the blog website you can subscribe to receive the press releases by email. Members of the group ($15/year), besides being able to watch on ZOOM, receive the monthly email newsletter TAGGology and have access to the more than 500 videos of past presentations and classes. The TAGGology newsletter contains a wealth of information about genealogy, including information for Temple and Family History Consultants. Free sample copies of the Newsletter can be requested on the UVTAGG website.
