ABOUT THE MAIN PRESENTATION: CROSSING THE POND
All of us have ancestors who arrived in the United States from another country. This class will offer help in how to find your ancestors emigration, immigration, and naturalization records from a variety of web sites.
ABOUT THE CLASS : THE FAMILYSEARCH WIKI
The FamilySearch WIKI is an amazing, but underused resource. It is a free tool for finding information about subjects, records that may have been generated by your ancestors, and places in which records may be found. It is like an online encyclopedia for family history research. Learn how to use this great tool to improve your own research.
ABOUT JULIE WILCOX:
Julie Wilcox lives in Pleasant Grove Utah. She grew up in Salt Lake and is the mother of nine grown children. Family History is her passion! She has over 49 years of research experience and specializes in Danish and U.S. research. Julie has been a consultant on the ward and stake level for over 13 years and currently serves at the Lehi FamilySearch Center where she teaches a dozen different family history classes in person and via zoom.
